Review Booster — Acceptable Use & Fair Usage Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026 · Applies to all Review Booster plans, including the free trial.

1. Purpose

This policy explains what counts as acceptable use of Review Booster and how we apply "unlimited" review requests fairly. It protects the service, our customers, and the people who receive messages. By using Review Booster you agree to this policy. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Your responsibility for consent (important)

Review Booster sends review requests to your customers, on your instruction.

  • You confirm that you have obtained each recipient's consent to be contacted by you, through Growth Logic, on their WhatsApp/mobile number, and that the number was collected lawfully in the course of your business.
  • You are the responsible party for that personal information under POPIA. Growth Logic acts only as an operator processing it on your behalf and on your instructions.
  • You must not upload, send to, or import numbers obtained from purchased lists, scraping, public directories, or any third-party source the recipient did not knowingly give you.
  • You must honour opt-outs. If a recipient asks not to be contacted, you must not send them further requests.
  • If a recipient complains or a data-protection authority makes an enquiry, responsibility for consent rests with you. You indemnify Growth Logic against claims arising from your lack of consent.

3. Acceptable use — review integrity

Review Booster helps you ask for honest feedback. It is not a tool for manipulating ratings. You must not:

  • Offer payment, discounts, gifts, or any incentive in exchange for a review, or condition service on leaving one.
  • Ask staff, friends, family, or yourself to post reviews, or post reviews you know to be fake.
  • Use the remediation window (see 3.2) to suppress, indefinitely delay, or selectively avoid negative public reviews.
  • Use the service to solicit reviews for a business other than the one on your account.

The public review invitation is sent to every recipient regardless of their rating; you cannot prevent a recipient from being given the opportunity to leave a public review (see 3.1 and 3.2).

3.1 How the review flow works

Review Booster asks each recipient to rate their recent experience with your business on a scale of 1 to 5. The rating request wording is standardised and controlled by Growth Logic; you can customise only the business-name field and the review link. You cannot alter how the rating is requested or routed.

Recipients who report a positive experience (a rating of 4 or 5) are sent an invitation to leave a public Google review. Recipients who report a poor experience (a rating of 1, 2 or 3) are first sent a message acknowledging their experience and letting them know your team will be in touch, and are then sent the same public Google review invitation after a short remediation window (see 3.2).

Growth Logic does not withhold the public review invitation from any recipient based on their rating. The invitation is sent to dissatisfied recipients within approximately 48 hours regardless of whether or how you respond to the remediation prompts. Growth Logic monitors the standard flow and updates it from time to time as review-platform policies evolve, but does not warrant that the flow complies with every third-party platform's rules at all times, and is not liable for any action taken against your business listing. You remain responsible for having a genuine basis to request reviews from each recipient, for the appropriateness of the interaction, and for the consent confirmed in section 2.

3.2 The remediation window

Where a recipient reports a poor experience (1, 2 or 3), Review Booster gives you a short window, of up to approximately 48 hours, to reach out to that recipient and resolve their concern before the public Google review invitation is sent to them. During this window Review Booster will prompt you to confirm whether you have remediated with the recipient.

The remediation window affects only the timing of the public review invitation, never whether it is sent. Confirming that you have remediated may result in the invitation being sent sooner; not confirming, or not responding, does not prevent it. The invitation is sent to the recipient once the window closes.

You agree that:

  • You will use the remediation window in good faith to resolve genuine concerns, not to suppress, indefinitely delay, or discourage negative public reviews.
  • You will not condition, request, or incentivise a positive review, or ask a recipient to change or remove an honest one.
  • You are responsible for how you use this window and for ensuring your conduct complies with the policies of Google and any other review platform.

Growth Logic provides the mechanism only. It does not require, monitor, or take responsibility for your individual remediation decisions, and is not liable for action taken against your business listing arising from how you use this window.

4. Fair use of "unlimited"

"Unlimited" means unlimited for normal, genuine use by a single business communicating with its own real customers. It does not mean uncapped automated bulk messaging.

To protect the service and our messaging infrastructure, we may monitor usage and apply reasonable limits. Your use may be reviewed, throttled, paused, or suspended if it:

  • Substantially exceeds the typical volume of comparable businesses on the same plan;
  • Shows patterns consistent with bulk/broadcast messaging rather than one-to-one review requests;
  • Sends repeatedly to the same recipients in a way that constitutes spam;
  • Risks the stability, reputation, or deliverability of our shared messaging system for other customers.

To prevent duplicate contact, Review Booster will not allow a review request to the same recipient within a rolling three-month window.

We will make reasonable effort to warn you before acting, except where immediate action is needed to protect the service or comply with a platform requirement. We may introduce specific numerical limits in future and will update this policy when we do.

5. One business, one account

Each subscription covers one business entity. Sharing an account across multiple unrelated businesses, or reselling access, requires our written agreement.

6. Messaging platform compliance

Review Booster delivers messages over WhatsApp. Your use must comply with WhatsApp's and Meta's applicable terms. Messaging delivery depends on third-party platforms we do not control; we do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery, and we are not liable for number restrictions or account actions imposed by those platforms. Delivery may be interrupted by number restrictions, and continuity is provided on a best-effort basis via alternative numbers, with no guaranteed delivery window.

7. Prohibited content

You must not use Review Booster to send anything unlawful, misleading, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or unrelated to a genuine review request (e.g. marketing promotions, political messaging, or spam). This includes, but is not limited to, fake or un-approved company names.

8. Enforcement

Breach of this policy may lead to warnings, throttling, feature limits, suspension, or termination without refund, depending on severity. Serious breaches like fake reviews, non-consented messaging, and illegal content may result in immediate termination.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the service, the law, or third-party platform rules evolve. Material changes will be communicated via the dashboard or email. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
